Bernhard, Oliver and everyone that contributed on this project did such an amazing thing by creating this marvelous application. Being able to quickly and accurately see what's eating up so much space is just what every Windows enthusiast needs (of course they have and mention alternatives for both Mac OS and Linux).

What makes WinDirStat shine even brighter is the way it presents the result: simple, colorful and masterfully placed blocks:

Every block denotes a specific file and every color denotes a file type, which can be easily understood by checking the top-right pane that details all file types and their color.

All in all: highly intuitive, easy to use, in depth information about disk usage, lightweight.
