You're the kind of guy that saves everything. You have folders upon folders of images, videos, documents and so on. Storing your valuables isn't a bad habit, but if you combine this with generally being in a rush then you inevitably end up with duplicate files or duplicate folders or even both. Things get even trickier when you're working on a project and just saved 3 different versions of the same file in different folders throughout your PC.

 

Sometimes you wanna find them; or sometimes you just wanna delete them. Either way, Duplicate finder will bring out all of your duplicates, no matter how deeply entrenched they are.

Tested and working features:

-comparison of two folders

-identification and correct showcasing of duplicate files

-accurate deletion as per user request

Experimental/ not fully tested:

-comparison of two folders which have other folders inside of them

Known issues:

-sometimes the comparison doesn't work; just restart the program or put in the folder paths again and trigger the sequence

-using common keyboard shortcuts won't work since they aren't currently implemented in the application

​

Unknown behavior:

-comparison of two folders which have other folders inside of them; which could lead to a 3rd duplicate being found (most probably the software stops searching for that file after it finds one duplicate)
